What Your Favorite Casino Game Says About You?

Casino games have been around for a long time. Since the first casino opened in the 17th century, casino games started becoming more and more popular. Today, with online casinos making gambling a lot more available than ever, the games are also much more popular than ever.

Whether you are a pro or an amateur gambler, you certainly have one game that you like above any other. If you want to try out some online casino games, you can do so at fabulous websites like Christchurch Casino. But, let’s examine what these sites say about you.

    Online Slots

Without a doubt the most popular game at most online casinos, slots are simple, fun, and easy to learn. They don’t require any interaction with other people, so upon first impression, we might say that those who enjoy slots above all else are solitary people. Introverts who draw on energy from within, rather than from any external source.

A lot of online slots today have popular themes inspired by fiction and history. Which also could lead one to the conclusion that slots players enjoy spending time reading, watching films, television shows, or learning something about the world.

    Poker

In many ways, poker is the exact opposite of slots. A highly social game, that forces players to interact with others. More than that, it also requires you to pay close attention to what other people are doing, how they are behaving, and what they might do in the future.

In other words, a poker player has to be, at least somewhat, extroverted. They thrive on competition, they love socializing, and analyzing other people gives them joy. Almost a textbook definition for an extrovert, who draws energy from external sources, rather than from within.

Often, poker gets compared to chess, and for good reason. The game requires a lot of concentration, a lot of predictive thinking, and a good degree of intuition. Unlike chess, however, poker players must also be charismatic, so as to avoid giving away any of their own tells.

    Blackjack

Blackjack remains one of the most popular games at online casinos, and there is a good reason for it. You see, casino games, aside from poker, all have a “house edge.” This is a percentage to which games favor the house over the players. With most games, it is 2.5%, but can go as high as 13-15%. With blackjack, that percentage is below 1%.

Knowing that, blackjack players are most likely those who enjoy risk and strategy, but only to a certain degree. Logical players who prefer to start a game with the odds already in their favor, or at least the opponent’s odds greatly minimized.

It is difficult to say whether blackjack enjoyers are more likely to be extroverts or introverts. Usually, you have to play the game with multiple people. However, it is entirely possible to be just you and the dealer. At that point, there won’t be too much interacting happening, and a game can be just as silent as a game of slots.
