Sherry worked for a well-off family near Woodstock, New York, in 2000.

“I just finished working and was on my way home,” she said. “It was the middle of October around dusk.”

She had just driven to the top of Yerry Hill Road just outside of Woodstock. While going downhill, she caught a glimpse of some type of craft above the trees. At first, she assured herself that perhaps it was a helicopter or another aircraft.

As Sherry continued down the road, she expected to see a small plane after she cleared the trees. Suddenly, to her shock and amazement, there in the sky above her was a triangular-shaped UFO. The craft abruptly stopped and hovered over some trees just off the road.

“I stopped my car and started flashing my headlights, as if to say hello,” she said.

The triangular craft hovered over the tree tops for about ten minutes. As she was about to drive off and continue on her way, the UFO began moving off in the opposite direction at a “leisurely speed.”

“I didn’t think it was alien or that sort of thing,” she said. “I truly thought it was probably a new kind of government craft being test driven; nothing more.”

Sherry said that years later, when she told a friend about the incident, he asked her what kind of sound the craft made. Upon hearing his question she was surprised to recall that there was no sound at all.

“At that moment I felt a cold chill down my back, when I realized that I might have seen a real alien craft,” she said.

Let’s look at some recent UFO sightings in New York skies:

April 15, 2016: At 11:30 p.m. a resident of Long Island observed a formation of five or six bright lights flying southwest.

April 21, 2016: At 7:30 p.m. an Albany resident saw a black object flying straight up and down.

April 25, 2016: At a.m. a resident of Deer Park observed a triangle of bright glowing objects.

April 27, 2016: At 11:45 p.m. a resident of Stony Point said he heard a loud, roaring sound. He said he looked out the window and saw a bright white light following a aircraft heading toward the airport.
