There are a lot of “repetitive” events taking place this weekend. Some of these events have been ongoing, but some of the one-and-done opportunities appear a couple time, sometimes at different venues over this weekend.

Being the second month of the year, and celebrating the essence of Groundhog Day, the “doubling” of everything seems fitting.

Two separate productions of Oleanna are weekend-only appearances, two dark comedies are closing this weekend, two improv shows will create scenes no one has ever seen before (or will ever see again), one band of Canadian troubadours play two venues, two sports teams play host twice, and there are Mardi Gras celebrations taking place.

The snow will be bleak, so take advantage of the unseasonable temperatures. This list is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to events going on in and around town.
