POINTS OF REFERENCE is a music news blog for people with actual lives and/or short attention spans: a weekly selection of topical, pop music talking points fit for bars and break rooms. - Lily Allen returned with “Hard Out There.”
- On Mon. Nov. 11 musician Raefe Ahkbar killed three people, including two members of the Iranian indie band Yellow Dogs. The band’s surviving members released a statement Wed.
- Ian Curtis’ kitchen table is for sale on Ebay.
- The MTV European Music Awards happened. Miley was Miley.
- Flaming Lips covered Stone Roses.
