The question is asked of me rather frequently: What exactly are UFOs?
Beyond the mere acronym UFO, or Unidentified Flying Objects, there are a lot of meanings.
Prior to 1947, most unidentified things flying in the air were simply referred to as anomalous physical phenomena or as extraordinary aerial objects.
Some people say the term UFO is synonymous with an extra terrestrial space craft. This idea is based on what is called the “extraterrestrial hypothesis” or ETH., a term coined in the 1960s. ETH puts forth the theory that UFOs come from planets in star systems far, far away. So the average person has been indoctrinated by the entertainment industry that ET UFOs are flown by aliens who are here to visit our lovely planet or are here for some nefarious purpose.
Also, UFO has come to be thought of as an umbrella term to include the interdimensional craft. This is based in the interdimensional hypothesis (IDH or IH). The idea behind this is that there is a multi-verse like in quantum theory, universes of other choices and possibilities. This multiverse has many other realities or dimensions that all coexist parallel to our own reality. I once heard it put as “a parallel universe barely a heartbeat away.”
In the interdimensional hypothesis, some Ufologists think that our UFO visitors are leaping into our reality from their own reality. As goofy as it sounds, there’s growing support for this view point. Some of the evidence to support this notion is the idea that many UFOs, especially orbs, are known to disappear and almost instantly reappear in another location. This column has been reporting occurrences like this for nearly three years now. Some of these sightings have been recorded on film and video as appearing to be in two places at once.
There is yet another camp that buys into both theories. Personally, I lean towards this view point. I have long thought that if ETs were going to travel great distances between star systems and perhaps between galaxies, they would need some sort of Faster-Than-Light (FTL) technology.
The idea being that they can “wink out” with their craft into sub-space or some other dimension for a brief period and reappear in another star system, galaxy or universe. I know it sounds like science fiction, but research is being done on such theories and its related technology. Will we see it in our lifetimes? Maybe.
We may already have the technology in the Black Space program or if disclosure comes in the relatively near future, perhaps our UFO visitors might share the technology with us. Who knows?
Let’s look at some UFO sightings in New York Skies:
March 30, 2016: At 8 p.m., a motorist of Queens was traveling to Manhattan and observed a bright object “hanging in the sky.” He described the object as whitish in color.
April 1, 2016: At 12:30 a.m., a resident of Pomona witnessed a bright light in the sky that disappeared spontaneously.
April 2, 2016: At 11 p.m., a Yonkers resident observed a cluster of fireball like objects.
April 10, 2016: At 8 p.m., a resident of Oneonta reported green rectangular objects forming a grid like pattern in the sky.
