On April 2, the Syracuse New Times, the fourth-oldest alternative weekly in the United States, will launch a redesign of the newspaper, adopting a modern, magazine-quality look and enhanced content.
The New Times is published in Syracuse by William Brod and distributed to more than 1,100 locations throughout Central New York. Its focus is on arts and entertainment, community events, news, sports and politics.
Building on a foundation of popular features like Jeff Kramer‘s humor column, Ed Griffin-Nolan’s “Sanity Fair” opinion column, odd news items in News & Blues, Free Will Astrology, unparalleled arts and entertainment coverage and the New Times events calendar, the newspaper will add reporting about fashion and the urban lifestyle, expand coverage of dining and provide a more prominent platform for people in the community and their views.
